CHOCOLATE PROTEIN BALLS WITH PEANUT BUTTER FILLING
We love healthy, nutritious fitness snacks and recipes that are quick to make and so delicious that they inevitably bring a smile to your face without a guilty conscience.
One such recipe is Lena's Peanut Butter Chocolate Flavoured Protein Balls, which make a healthy, filling afternoon snack and are also great to take on the go.
Preparation time: 12 minutes for 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 30g Vegan Muscle Chocolate (also on Amazon)
- 60g almonds
- 40g cashews
- 205g pitted dates
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 tbsp peanut butter
Preparation:
First, put the peanut butter in a small bowl and chill it in the freezer.
Put the almonds and cashews in a blender and blend until smooth. Add the dates, cocoa powder and Vegan Muscle protein powder (chocolate) and blend until the mixture is firm. By the way, you can also use our regular chocolate protein powder without any problem.
Shape the mixture into bite-sized balls, fill them with a little frozen peanut butter and close them up.
You can either chill the finished chocolate peanut butter protein balls in the fridge and store them for a few days or enjoy them immediately.
